Mintech Flexible Connect
Mintech Flexible Connect is the toolkit that broadens the network's compatibility across telecommunications protocols and devices. In the wholesale voice market, the ability to interact with a wide range of communications systems directly affects commercial reach. A network that can only handle standard SIP traffic is limited to standard SIP carriers. MFC removes that limitation.
MFC enables Minutes Network to connect with legacy TDM systems, non-standard VoIP configurations, regional protocol variants, and a broader range of endpoint devices than conventional routing environments can support. This means the network can accept and terminate traffic from carriers and enterprises that other wholesale providers might not be able to serve, expanding the total addressable market for inbound traffic.
Within the Mintech Operating System, MFC operates alongside the Revenue Turbine (MRT) and the Jingle Plug-In as part of the call processing chain. When traffic enters the network via SIP, the MRT optimises the pricing and routing. MFC handles the protocol translation and device compatibility required to deliver the call to its final endpoint, regardless of what technology sits at the receiving end. The Jingle Plug-In provides an additional termination path for recipients on integrated applications, bypassing the PSTN entirely.
This protocol flexibility is particularly important as Minutes Network expands into new markets through LDI license acquisitions. Different countries and regions operate on different telecom standards, legacy systems, and infrastructure generations. MFC ensures the network can terminate traffic across all of them without requiring custom integrations for each market.
For the MNTx economy, MFC contributes by maximising the number of routes and destinations where Minutes Network can competitively terminate traffic. The more destinations the network can serve, the more carriers will route traffic through it, and the larger the revenue pool available for algorithmic MNTx purchases each month.
