Overview
Minutes Network Token (MNTx) is the native utility token of Minutes Network, a decentralised wholesale voice-call termination carrier operating within the $251 billion paid-for voice communications market.
Minutes Network combines proprietary telecommunications engineering, DePIN infrastructure, mobile application integration, and blockchain-based reward mechanics into a single borderless operating model. The network generates real-world fiat revenue by charging international voice carriers for terminating their call traffic, then uses 100% of its net revenue to purchase MNTx tokens on the open market each month. Those tokens are distributed as rewards across the ecosystem:
· Infrastructure operators who secure and run the network
· Stakers who provision capacity
· End users whose calls are terminated over the platform
· Minutes Network itself for continued development.
The result is a telecommunications-based sharing economy, one in which the value created by network activity is algorithmically redistributed to the participants who secure, use, and expand the system.
MNTx is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with a hard-capped supply of 500 million. It utilises World Mobile Chain as a traceability and settlement layer, with L2 rollups providing an additional trust layer. The token is classified as an unregulated utility token and confers no equity or governance rights over Minutes Network Ltd or Minutes Network Token X.
The network is powered by 3,000 DePIN Nodes:
· 500 Switch Nodes that route voice traffic
· 2,500 Validation Nodes that monitor network health and call quality
All nodes are secured exclusively through MNTx staking. Alongside the core infrastructure, Minutes Network's proprietary Mintech technology suite enables the platform to offer carriers the lowest termination rates in the market while extracting maximum value from every connected call.
Through its Rapid Growth Library (MRGL), Minutes Network integrates directly with large-scale mobile applications via a lightweight SDK (now branded as Jingle Plug-In), onboarding entire user bases as reachable endpoints on the network without disrupting the application's existing user experience or revenue streams. The network has secured partnerships projected to bring over 2 billion integrated users by 2030, and maintains interconnections with more than 400 international carriers including Lebara, Lyca Mobile, IDT, Omantel, PCCW, and Vodatel.
