Staker Rewards
Staker Rewards form the largest single allocation within the MNTx reward cycle. Each epoch, 60% of the total reward pool is assigned to node stakers before the algorithmic burn is applied. Once the burn calculation has been executed, the remaining balance is distributed pro rata across all staking positions, proportional to each staker's contribution to the total MNTx staked across the network.
Unlike the 10% Node Holder allocation, which is fixed per node and undiluted, the staker pool is variable in two directions. The size of the pool before distribution depends on how much survives the burn, and each participant's share of that pool depends on their position relative to every other staker on the network that epoch.
Pro Rata Distribution
Once the burn has been applied, the remaining balance is divided across all qualifying staking positions. A staker holding 1% of all MNTx staked across the network receives 1% of the post-burn staker pool. There is no fixed yield, no predetermined return, and no cap on individual reward potential. The reward each staker receives is a direct function of their proportional contribution to overall staking that epoch.
This applies across Switch Nodes, Validation Nodes, and the Delegated Public Validation Node. All staked positions across all node types feed into the same pool and compete for the same distribution.
What Shapes the Outcome
Three variables determine what a staker actually receives in a given epoch:
1. The volume of telecom revenue generated by the network that month, which sets the size of the total reward pool before any split.
2. The burn rate applied to the 60% allocation, which determines how much of the staker pool survives to distribution.
3. Each participant's proportional share of total network staking, which determines how the post-burn balance is divided.
