A major growth engine of the Minutes Network ecosystem is the integration of mobile applications into the network. Rather than relying solely on carrier-originated traffic, Minutes Network has developed a proprietary mechanism to onboard entire application user bases as reachable endpoints on its telecom network, creating a second and potentially much larger source of terminable voice traffic.

This is achieved through the Jingle Plug-In (formerly known as the Minutes Network SDK and the Mintech Rapid Growth Library, or MRGL). Jingle is a lightweight, easy-to-install plugin compatible with Android applications. Once integrated, every user of the host application becomes directly reachable through the Minutes Network telephone system without any change to the application's interface, user experience, or existing revenue streams.

How It Works

The integration process follows a straightforward path. An application signs up through the Minutes Network application partner programme and integrates the Jingle Plug-In into its platform. The application's users then update their app via the Play Store. At that point, the entire user base becomes immediately available as peers on the Minutes Network telephone network.

When an international voice carrier sends a call through Minutes Network to a phone number belonging to someone who has the Jingle-integrated application installed, the call is terminated directly over the data network rather than through the PSTN. This bypasses traditional termination infrastructure entirely. The result is HD call quality, guaranteed CLI delivery, and the elimination of up to 99.99% of carrier termination fees. Minutes Network retains nearly 100% of the call revenue on these connections.

For calls where the recipient does not have a Jingle-integrated application, the call is terminated through the standard PSTN path via the Mintech Revenue Turbine, still at the lowest cost in the market but with traditional termination fees applying.

What Applications Receive

Minutes Network presents a new, incremental revenue stream for mobile applications. Until this model, applications had four main paths to revenue: subscriptions, advertisements, in-app purchases, and paid downloads. Jingle introduces a fifth. By integrating the plugin, the application qualifies to share in the revenue generated from all voice calls that Minutes Network terminates over its platform.

This revenue sharing is entirely passive from the application's perspective. There are no new screens, buttons, pop-ups, or disruptions to the user experience. The integration interacts in a non-invasive, secure, and GDPR-compliant manner with no impact on the application's existing revenue generation streams.

Scaling Mechanism

The Jingle Plug-In is what enables Minutes Network to scale without consumer marketing costs, without subscriptions, and without requiring end users to take any action. The application handles the distribution. Minutes Network handles the telecom infrastructure. The user simply updates their app and becomes reachable.

This is a fundamentally different growth model to traditional telecom operators, who must acquire subscribers one by one through marketing, contracts, and retail distribution. Minutes Network acquires millions of reachable endpoints in a single integration event.

The first confirmed integration partner, Smart Energy Water, is projected to bring over 1.2 billion users to the network. Additional integration agreements have been signed with multiple partners, ranging from award-winning large-scale applications to strategic regional platforms that expand coverage in key markets. In parallel, Jingle is being deployed in limited enterprise and carrier campaigns designed to onboard frequent callees directly to the network as part of the hyperscaling initiative.

User Rewards

Every phone number that appears on the network through a Jingle-integrated application is provided with a non-custodial wallet. When a call is received through that number, MNTx rewards are automatically allocated to both the caller and the callee. These rewards can later be claimed and act like awareness campaigns designed to introduce users to the broader Minutes Network Token X ecosystem.

This mechanism drives mass blockchain adoption by connecting everyday telephone users to the token system without requiring them to understand blockchain technology. They simply receive calls as normal, and rewards accumulate in the background.

Technical Overview

Jingle is a proprietary technology that redefines how international and, in many cases, local PSTN call connections are handled. It enables applications to manage calls directly over the data network, cutting up to 99.99% of carrier call costs per minute. By removing intermediaries from the connection process, Jingle restores carrier profitability, enhances call quality, and guarantees caller ID delivery across all networks.

The call processing relies on Minutes Network's DePIN infrastructure. Switch Nodes are rewarded for routing calls, while Validation Nodes earn for verifying network integrity and confirming the availability of application users integrated via the Jingle Plug-In. All connections operate through legitimate, compliant routes with no grey-route activity.

Minutes Network collects 100% of revenues from Jingle-terminated call traffic, sharing a predefined portion with the host application. A portion of these revenues is then used to algorithmically purchase MNTx tokens to pay for the DePIN Service fees to MNTx which are then used for distribution as rewards, sustaining the node operators, stakers, network users, and the developer.

Partner Onboarding Process

Applications interested in integrating with Minutes Network follow a structured onboarding path:

Step 1

Register through the application partner programme at jingleplugin.com. The Minutes Network team responds with the technical details and commercial terms for the integration.

Step 2

Technical integration. The application's development team integrates the Jingle Plug-In into their Android application. The plugin is lightweight and does not require significant engineering resources or architectural changes to the host application.

Step 3

Deployment. The application publishes the updated version through the Play Store. Once users update, their devices become reachable endpoints on the Minutes Network system.

Step 4

Revenue activation. From the moment calls begin terminating over the integrated application, revenue sharing begins. The application can track its performance and earnings through the Originating Carrier Portal (OCP) provided by the Mintech Analytics Suite.

B2G Model

Minutes Network has also developed a dedicated proposition for government mobile applications. The B2G model is specifically tailored for government entities, offering an optimal telecom application designed to maximise value capture without incurring legacy expenses. Government applications follow the same integration path as commercial applications but with terms and compliance frameworks adapted for public sector requirements.

Tracking Progress

Partners and communities can track the growth of Jingle integrations by monitoring the Minutes Network Explorer for visible increases in network traffic as global rollouts continue. The Mintech Analytics Suite provides tailored analytics solutions for all key participants, with the Nodes Analytics Portal (NAP) serving infrastructure operators and the Originating Carrier Portal (OCP) serving carrier partners.
